About the Job:

• Role as a backend Software Engineer who is self-motivated to deliver solutions and integrate with the UI team and test teams.
• Contribute to the design, development, test, and integration of many components within a microservice architecture.
• Hybrid schedule with accommodating team environment

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience as a software developer or software engineer with at least one programming language
• Experience with Java and Object-oriented programming
• Knowledge of containerization tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Minikube, etc.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of architecture styles and APIs including REST & SOAP
• Experience building and configuring CI pipelines (Gitlab & Jenkins)
• Experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot
• DBA knowledge: Oracle, MarkLogic, Postgres, Mongo
• Experience with ElasticSearch and Kibana
• Experience with AWS environments
• Experience working in a SAFe Agile environment
• Understanding of GIS concepts (ESRI tools)
• Security+ Certification

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Clearance:

• Top Secret or Top Secret SCI required, polygraph preferred

Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in software development (analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance) required

Pay Range: The proposed salary range for this position is $59,900-$119,800. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
