Available Opportunity -

We’re looking for a social media rockstar with experience in travel and hospitality. This position is Location Independent which means you can work/live anywhere in the contiguous United States, that is within a 3-hour time difference of the company headquarters - currently located in Detroit, Michigan.

A day in the life of the Social Media Manager would include the following activities such as but not limited to:

  • Contribute to influencer marketing strategy with thoughtful ways to maximize exposure for clients by optimizing influencer collaborations
  • Pitch, negotiate and secure in-kind influencer partnerships
  • Build and maintain a robust portfolio of content creators and brand ambassadors
  • Establish KPI’s, track and report influencer content and social media metrics including monitoring, clipping, and monthly client reports
  • Plan, coordinate and execute influencer visits inclusive of travel coordination, on-site experiences and logistics
  • Plan, coordinate and execute consumer, industry and media events
  • Create, post, and optimize content to help grow clients' audiences
  • Develop and execute creative programming clients' social channels
  • Develop and maintain a social content calendar
  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications
  • Monitor and report social media activity from following, engagement, and content deliverables

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: A min of4+ years of influencer marketing and/or social media management experience (agency and travel/hospitality industry preferred) with proven success driving influencer programs and social coverage
  • Relationships: Deep rooted relationships with all-tiers of influencers across travel, lifestyle, family, romance, wellness and culinary, and a love for cultivating those connections
  • Creativity: Creative thinker who isn’t afraid to color outside the lines, and has a passion for ideating creative and thoughtful social media campaigns
  • Communication: Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Attention to Detail: A keen eye for focusing on the details
  • Excellent Organizational Skills: Fantastic skills in keeping a lot of information, dates, and files organized and quickly accessible
  • Loves To Learn: Apersistent enthusiasm to learn, keep up with marketing trends, grow in their role, adapting as the landscape changes
  • Entrepreneur Spirit: A self-starter who can multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines
  • Positive Attitude: A positive thinker who is focused on finding solutions and problem solving, as well as cultivating a positive team environment

Pay: $47,603.00 - $52,647.00 per year
