The Carpenter will be responsible for construction, maintenance, and remodeling homes and businesses. All positions require physical labor and candidates must be willing to regularly lift heavy objects, work on ladders and stand for long periods of time.

The job duties of a general laborer vary. They may include cleaning and preparing a job site, loading, and delivering materials, and using a variety of tools and machines such as levels, lifts, power drills, grinders, saws, pressure washers, painting & flooring. Looking for reliable and honest employees. General knowledge of construction is a must! Additional skills such as installing cabinets, siding, and drywall are also a plus. Our ideal candidate is comfortable working in diverse settings to produce steady and functional infrastructure and products and has an eye for detail. S/he should be capable of working with little supervision while following all health and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

· MUST HAVE ATLEAST 2 years of construction experience!

· Must BE ABLE to lift up to 50 pounds at a time!

· Must BE ABLE to safely work with sharp tools or power equipment!

· Must BE ABLE to work in a variety of weather conditions and terrains!

· MUST HAVE manual dexterity, a good sense of balance, and excellent hand-eye coordination!

· MUST BE able to read a tape measure correctly!

· Install/Repair drywall (patch, mud, sand)

· Cuts and shapes structures, forms, or other fixtures from wood, plastic, fiberglass, or drywall.

· Uses various hand and power tools to securely build assigned projects.

· Joins materials with the most appropriate nail, screw, staple, or adhesive.

· Ensures the accuracy of work by checking completed projects with tools such as levels, surveying equipment, or framing squares; corrects problems as needed.

· Creates wooden forms for pouring concrete or for tunnels, bridges, or sewer construction projects.

· Erects and dismantles scaffolding.

· Installs windows and doors.

· Adheres to local building and safety codes and guidelines.

· Performs other related duties as assigned.

· Prolonged periods standing, climbing, bending, and kneeling.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
