JOB DESCIPRTION- SHIPPING RECEIVING MATERIAL HANDLER
- Perform appropriate quality check on parts being packed and order completeness
- Receive incoming shipments from existing customers and/or vendors, label equipment, identifying information, and deliver equipment and paperwork to correct locations
- Stocking of purchased material and movement of internal Finished and Semi-Finished goods.
- Updating of Oracle ERP system for receipts and movements
- Comply with all regulatory requirements, including export compliance and EHS standards
- Maintain a safe, clean organized and efficient work area
- Work off-shift/overtime, as needed, to support department and meet deadlines
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of Shipping and Receiving Experience, which includes but not limited to:
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a good motor vehicle driving record (for potential operation of company vehicles)
- Familiarity with the use of various hand/power tools and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Use of computer for Outlook email, Outlook calendar, and for material transactions
PREFERRED (NOT REQUIRED) EXPERIENCE
- One (1) year experience Shipping and Receiving in manufacturing using ERP software (SAP, ORACLE, or equivalent)
- Basic knowledge of shipping dangerous goods (mainly lithium batteries)
- Basic understanding of lean concepts and the ability to support continuous improvement
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform, follow and help develop standard work knowledge of Import/Export compliance preferred
- Coordinating both domestic and international shipments with carriers and freight forwarders - including working knowledge of Shipping Manager software for UPS, Fed-Ex, and DHL
- Knowledge of shipping Dangerous Goods (lithium batteries)
- Packaging techniques for fragile electronic instrumentation

Pay: $20.55 - $23.75 per hour
