A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A SHIPPING COORDINATOR:

Shipping Coordinators oversee the packaging and transportation of goods to the appropriate buyers.

Responsibilities

  • Distribute all incoming packages daily.
  • Utilize all shipping portals and APIs to complete daily shipments.
  • Ensure that orders are shipped on-time using the appropriate ship method.
  • Maintain an open line of communication with all involved departments in regards to changes in shipments or deliveries.
  • Keep track of all Priority sales orders, ensuring timely completion and shipment.
  • Research and fix ASN's in transaction manager.
  • Familiarity with creating pick list for non frames and P2, P5's.
  • Utilize PlanetTogether to identify priority orders and materials to facilitate sales orders.
  • Coordinate and schedule pickups with USPS, UPS Freight & FedEx.
  • Follow up and posting Walmart, Amazon, and Aisle "A" orders.

Skills and Qualifications

  • High School or GED equivalent.
  • Previous warehouse experience.
  • Familiarity with the use of hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other necessary warehouse equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for long period of time
  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
  • Must be able to work in normal warehouse environment.
