The Shipping Clerk is responsible for providing exceptional customer service through the accurate and timely distribution of merchandise, correspondence and supplies. They are also responsible for leading by example and providing technical direction for all shipping Clerks.

Essential Job Functions:
The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not necessarily limited to:
- Provide technical direction for shipping staff.
- Ensure completion of daily departmental tasks/duties.
- Pull blank stock for production at least 2 days out.
- Receive shipments of blank stock and supplies, sort and deliver to receiving department.
- Adhere to all company and department safety and security procedures.
- Assume department coverage in absence of the manager.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Basic math skills.
- Basic knowledge of Word and Excel.
- Previous warehouse experience.
- Able to speak, understand, read and write English.
- Able to communicate clearly and delegate tasks.
- Forklift experience helpful.
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Standing, bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, pushing, pulling, carrying and moving items of up to 45 lbs.
- Ability to perform essential job functions in an environment with varied noise levels
- Passing forklifts may emit gas and stop traffic in the common areas
- The warehouse environment may be dusty, noisy, and open to interior temperature changes
