Shipping and Handling Specialist Job at ZF
This position is responsible for running the shipping & receiving dock. Must beable to fill out the required documentation associated with shipping prototype products. Must have good communication skills with other technicians, engineers, and supervision. Is required to perform multiple functions at once, while maintaining accuracy and quality of work.
Experience and Skill Requirements
- Logistics and supply chain knowledge
- Experience in shipping to automotive customers
- Knowledge of hazardous shipping regulations
- Familiar with shipping procedures and use of various computer
- Applications such as FedEx, DHL, UPS, etc.
- Able to communicate with carriers for transportation arrangements
- Familiar with requirements for international shipments, including documents for customs/brokerage purposes
- Will be required to submit information into customer and carrier portals
- Familiar with 49 CFR, IATA, and D.O.T. requirements
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel applications
- Preferred forklift experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
