GAC Services is an award-winning residential HVAC and electrical company in Gaithersburg, MD, and is currently looking for a Sheet Metal Fabricator (Entry or Mid-level). Metal Fabrication creates the duct transitions required to adapt our new heating/cooling equipment to homeowners’ existing duct systems. The position is part of a team that is also responsible for maintaining our fabrication shop and managing our workload. Excellent opportunity into the heating & cooling (HVAC) industry.

Pay Range: $16.00 - $20.00 Hourly

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage daily workflow.
• Create sheet metal fittings using our plasma cutter and software templates.
• Ensure accuracy of fittings prior to staging for installation jobs.
• Manage efficiency and productivity fabrication process.
• Work closely with Install Coordination and Quality Assurance Teams to meet scheduled deadlines.
• Maintain proper stock of most commonly used fittings, slips, drives, etc.
• Maintain machinery, tools, and shop to ensure a safe working environment.
• Maintain a proper supply of sheet metal and materials required to perform duties.
• Adhere to all safety procedures working with machinery and tools in the metal shop.

• No experience necessary – Training is provided.

• Capable of working with hand tools and power tools
• Computer skills
