Devereux/TCV Community Services is Hiring Immediately for a Full Time Intake Service Coordinator. Hourly Rate of $17.96/hour to $21.79/hour

Position Type: Full-time, Monday through Friday, with flexibility to meet your needs.
What to Expect: TCV is currently seeking a dedicated and responsible person to fill our full-time Intake Service Coordinator role in the greater Pittsburgh area.
The Intake Service Coordinator plays a critical role in fulfilling the mission of TCV by providing professional intake assessment, crisis intervention, and information and referral to ensure timely access to mental health, drug and alcohol or other services required for a safe and healthy community life based on the individual’s level of needs. The incumbent works as a member of a treatment/service team in order to promote mental health recovery. We are looking for people who believe in a strengths-based approach, and use positive practices to help guide their everyday activities. This position provides an essential recovery orientation for the individual being served. The Intake Service Coordinator position is designed to:
Obtain information from individuals and referral sources requesting services/treatment as well as complete a comprehensive screening for assessment and/or referral using best practice standards with accuracy.- Provide telephone and walk-in emergency and crisis intervention services as needed. This includes assessing the degree and seriousness of disturbance of the presenting consumer and providing appropriate intervention.
- The ability to communicate effectively with all consumers, departments and or leaders to ensure benchmarks and consumers need are met.
- Complete all documentation within 24 hours. Documentation would include but not be limited to: Point of Entry, Intake Database and Service Coordination Progress Notes.
- Coordinate outpatient referrals to ensure compliance with contract requirements and access standards.
- Attend and participate in the SCU team meetings; notifying the supervisor 24 hours in advance if unable to attend.
- Attend regular supervision with your supervisor.
- Attend and participate in assigned committees and work groups.
- Maintains productivity standards.
- Efficiently use the electronic medical record and all other software.

Prospective employees hired for the Intake SC position will receive a $2,500 sign on bonus. The employee will receive the first third after the successful completion of three (3) months of employment, the second third will be awarded after the successful completion of six (6) months of employment, and the final third will be awarded after achieving a "satisfactory" rating or higher on the annual performance evaluation.

- Bachelor Degree in social service field.
- Three (3) years of experience in the mental health/ substance abuse field.
- Valid Driver's License & Driving History (MVR), 3 years of previous driving experience, required.
- Act 33/34, Child Abuse, and FBI Fingerprinting Clearances required.
- New Hire and 24 hours of Annual Training, required.
