Server Job at Tahoe Mountain Club
The Server provides efficient, prompt service to guests according to established rules of dining etiquette. Performs all duties necessary to insure guests a memorable experience.
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
- Knows special menu items and descriptions for the day.
- Performs all side work and set up duties for each meal period.
- Knows all specialty drinks and formulas. Knows what glassware, fruit, straws, etc., that accompany each drink.
- Takes all cocktail and food orders based on established food and beverage rules of etiquette.
- Monitors and maintains the cleanliness of the dining areas, wait stations, storage areas, bathrooms and sidewalks.
- Knows all pricing, presentations, substitutions, portions and cooking times for each menu item.
- Serves food in the proper sequence according to etiquette and order of course.
- Greets guests by name whenever possible.
- Pre-busses, busses, and resets tables.
- Responsible for having own adequate change or bank at the beginning of each shift.
- Balances own sales report and assigned cash register at the beginning and end of each shift.
- A signed weekly tip declaration form will be turned into the service director.
- Performs all side work, cleaning and “break-down” duties at the end of each shift and checks work with the service director.
- Other duties, as needed
QUALIFICATIONS :
- General serving experience preferred but not required.
- CA Food Handlers Card
- Responsible Beverage Service Card
