Summary: To ensure success as a Windows Administrator, you should have in-depth knowledge of Windows server setup, deployment, and maintenance, advanced coding skills, and the ability to solve complex IT issues. Ultimately, a top-class Windows Administrator ensures the smooth running of the company’s server systems, while maintaining a high level of security.
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain Wintel server systems to support business processing requirements.
• Provide top level technical support, assist in the evaluation of new products and services, and may manage vendor SLA.
• Implement, design, and manage complex Virtual and physical server infrastructures. SME in provisioning Servers, various hypervisors and management platforms (vSphere/vCenter, VCAC is a plus).
• Solid knowledge and experience with Windows Server OS and application delivery/packaging solutions, including application streaming, sequencing, and isolation.
• Experience with windows commodity hardware, file and print services, SCOM, SCCM (patching), AD, Scripting, replication, console management, and virtualization system backup capabilities. VMware optional but a plus.
• Familiarity with Active directory, GPO, domain trusts, LDAP.
• Implement and maintain system management software, as well as research, analyze, and implement software patches and hardware modifications to resolve deficiencies.
• Support and schedule operating systems installations and upgrades, as well as layered software packages, in accordance with established IT policies and procedures.
• Assist with the configuration and maintenance of physical and logical components.
• Monitor, analyze, and tune the technical system to achieve optimal performance levels.
• Ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.
• Assists development team with modeling, physical design and application tuning.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
Education: Four (4) year degree or equivalent experience
Experience: 2 to 5 years
Skills:

• OS: WinX - ENT, Linux/AIX/Unix is a plus
• Hardware: Intel with SAN connectivity experience over iScsi, FC etc, VCE
• Applications: Win server OS administration, VCenter, VDI, SCCM, SCOM
• Has developed extensive business knowledge and keeps current on industry trends
