Key Accountabilities:

  • Leads one or more agile development projects as scrum master
  • Employs best practices for agile/scrum methodology, while operating within the department's overall Agile Framework.
  • Motivates and supports team members and ensures they have the tools and knowledge to do their jobs and that all blocking issues are resolved quickly. Creates self-organizing agile teams and facilitates the delegation of tasks and responsibilities to appropriate team members.
  • Acts as moderator for sprint planning, daily standups, sprint demos, and refactoring/reflection sessions
  • Communicates team status to all internal stakeholders and continuously refines/improves metrics by working with the team.
  • Escalates issues that require executive attention.
  • Discovers opportunities to support organizational initiatives and develops strategies and programs to promote initiatives.
  • Participates in the development of programs as a strategic partner that supports the company plans as directed by leadership.
  • Provides planning, project coordination, and management for the development of organizational initiatives, while concurrently facilitating efficient operations to meet current and future business needs within the organization.
  • Provides oversight and guidance to projects of high importance
  • Responsible for balancing workload to optimize the effectiveness of project development and management.
  • Oversees complex and comprehensive operational implementations for the organization.
  • Performs analysis to determine root cause of challenges and provides solutions for improved operational and process performance.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Certified Scrum Master or related training is a must
  • 8+ years’ experience in a scrum master role in Software Development with years of progressive responsibility with several successful software development projects handling multiple development teams is needed
  • Experience using JIRA, Confluence & Jira Align/AgileCraft
  • Previous experience as a software developer is highly preferred.
  • Experience in Cloud Technologies a plus
  • Strong experience in the use of agile development quality metrics to visualize how the team is performing and where they can improve
  • Servant Leadership mentality and empowers others to do their best work
  • Effective facilitator who can actively listen, remain neutral, ensure all voices are heard and ask open ended questions
  • You’re an agile enthusiast who can mentor others and has a deep knowledge and/or experience with multiple frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, Spotify, etc.
  • A change agent who advocates for continuous improvement and is Innovative, Analytical and a Strategic Problem solver
  • Possess superb communication and people-interaction skills, and can collaborate and partner with others within and outside the team
