This Program Management position will lead the Jupiter Development Program for Integration, Enterprise Test and Delivery of a Commercial Mobile Satellite Ground System. The ideal candidate will have a well-rounded background in program management, software and 3rd party hardware integration, Factory and Enterprise System test, Problem resolution, program closeout and customer engagement. The Program Manager provides line of sight to program business objectives and facilitates the delivery of Cost, Schedule, and Technical Performance. Focus will be on the execution of the program, working closely with Technical Team and Leaders to set priorities across the program to ensure contractual commitments are upheld and building a relationship with the customer. The PM will support financial performance tracking, budget and schedule estimation, and creation. The candidate will work cross-functionally within LM and the LMGI partners to maintain a team capable of delivering the Jupiter enterprise on schedule while meeting all system capability objectives. The selected candidate will lead a diverse, international team of staff and subcontractors to execute the program. commercial product offering. International travel may be required.

- Oversee the technical planning and execution of the program
- Manage the program budget and schedule
- Act as liaison to the customer, has excellent customer interface skills
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies
- Drive and participate in the negotiation of contracts and contract changes.
- Has a background and passion for space, ideally knowledge of LTE satellite systems and/or production
- Prior experience with international business
- Ability to work with a geographically dispersed team
- Experience managing a budget of 50M+
- Ensure crisp communication/status up and down the organization, with our international team, and customer
- Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal. Able to communicate effectively within all levels of the corporation and lead high level customer meetings

Basic Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Program Management or related field
- Strong leadership skills, profit and loss leadership skills and business acumen
- Demonstrated successful management and negotiation of contracts, preferably commercial and/or fixed price
- Proven ability to manage geographically dispersed teams with a record of delivering
- Experience in working with or leading large subcontract efforts
- Demonstrated conflict resolution skills and the ability to build respectful working relationships
- International Program Management experience with Firm Fixed Price and Direct Commercial Sale contracts
- Experience with significant supply chain/subcontract engagement
- Effectively led briefings and strategy meetings for senior/executive management and customer representatives
- Background in software, systems or hardware engineering in ground or space
- Knowledge of telecommunication LTE technologies
- Strong organizational skills
- Knowledge and/or familiarity with Japanese business customs and culture
- Ability to travel internationally
- Hold valid US Passport
- New business, proposal or capture experience
- Advanced business acumen including the ability to investigate, comprehend, and interpret complex business challenges, and think and act both strategically and tactically.
- Excellent customer interface/relationship skills
- Technical background, preferably knowledge of telecommunication technologies.
