Senior Product Safety Engineer (Remote) Job at TUV Rheinland of North America
Responsibilities:
Meet test objectives by determining testing methods (Wireless, EMC, etc.) and selecting testing equipment. Ensure customer test criteria is correctly interpreted and applied. Interpret and apply applicable test standards.- Perform tests for certification of equipment to applicable domestic or international regulatory standards and regulatory compliance regulations; advises customers of non-compliance.
- Ensure wireless/IoT laboratory testing equipment maintenance.
- Train others regarding standards.
- Support wireless/IoT laboratory manager and team on lab accreditation application.
- Provide technical problem-solving & support to internal team members and external clients.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required; Master’s degree preferred.- Prior TIC industry/product testing experience in similar role.
- Wireless/IoT service, Green Solution, Material Testing, and Quality Control, IA-Telecom, Bluetooth, ZigBee, SAR, KNX, DALI, Mirror Link, etc.
- Ability to travel to client locations (less than 20%).
