Senior Plumbing Engineer Job at Strang Inc
Strang is seeking a highly motivated a Senior Plumbing Engineer in the Madison and Waukesha areas to join our growing organization and be a part of a Design Synchronicity Culture. The Plumbing Engineer will work closely with Strang's team of project engineers, architects, and interior designers on a variety of exciting project types. This position can be remote or located at one of our regional offices in Wisconsin with the flexibility to work remote.
Duties and Responsibilities:
This position will work directly with clients and the Strang project team to determine the appropriate Plumbing and Fire Protection systems for the project, including but not limited to:
- Workload oversight of assigned plumbing staff
- Feasibility studies, probable cost estimates,
- Oversee the production of construction documents (plans, details, schedules, specifications),
- Conduct Quality assessments, and assist with construction administration
- Adherence to plumbing processes and procedures
What you can bring to the team:
The Senior Plumbing Engineer will have a minimum of 15 years of experience designing large complex projects, a Professional Engineering license (P.E.), and experience mentoring other plumbing engineers and production staff. A thorough knowledge of plumbing and fire protection systems for Science & Technology, Higher Education, Commercial and other complex building types is required. Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential. Familiarity with the following design and production software: BIM, Revit, and other software programs associated with system sizing and design
