Job Description
Senior - Strategist will provide support to Strategy & Innovation (S&I) leadership to analyze business threats, opportunities, long-term business outlook & develop a strategy. You will also collaborate with various stakeholders (internal & external) to identify low carbon growth opportunities & initiatives and launch new green products
You Will
-
Support business unit strategic planning through quantitative analysis, industry and market research and leadership engagement

Play a crucial role in aligning business unit strategy with initiative planning, budgeting, and corporate and employee performance management.

Prepare executive presentations, memorandum & support materials to communicate strategy to all stakeholders

Contribute to the development of content for critical strategic efforts, such as the strategy board meeting and executive committee sessions

Support scenario modeling to understand the range of threats and strategic opportunities in close collaboration with internal groups and external parties such as leading academic institutions and national labs
-
Assess opportunities for M&A and divestitures, and support due diligence process as needed

Build transaction/pricing models and business cases

Provide ad-hoc analytical and quantitative support
You Must Have

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Data Science or a related field preferred

Master's Degree preferred

Minimum five (5) years of experience involving a combination of financial analysis, strategic scenario analysis, evaluation of new business opportunities, evaluation of mergers and acquisitions, and/or strategy consulting

Research and industry analysis skills. Experience with creating compelling business cases for a variety of growth opportunities that are backed by sound strategic thinking, research, and analytical support

Demonstrated skills and experience in achieving results in both “big-picture” analysis and detailed work situations.

Knowledge of quantitative analysis, with the proven ability to interpret results and translate them for various audiences

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft office tools – PowerPoint & Excel

Knowledge of BI tools preferred
