This is what you will do:
The ideal candidate will have experience delivering digital strategy -including web, email, and social channels (Marketing Automation) and projects across channels. You should be experienced in launching campaigns for marketing and sales. In alignment with the strategic business goals this individual will enable future growth of the company by helping to implement and institute delivery capabilities in support of the Marketing and Commercial business globally. You will be responsible for technical delivery of projects and ongoing operations, driving process and technology globally!
The individual must be an exceptionally strong collaborator, who will work to become a trusted partner to business and IT colleagues by providing critical thinking with tactical execution. The Service Delivery Manager will work with business partners, project manager, and technical organization as a primary point of contact to align internal client needs, requirements, and expectations with technical delivery of the solutions.
You will be responsible for:
- Collaborate with marketing/sales and IT executives to execute on strategy and deliver business solutions that directly contribute to the success of Alexion’s business.
- Partner and educate corporate, commercial, and marketing teams to support delivery of omnichannel projects including website forms, approved email, social, interactive visual aids, and other coordinated digital capabilities.
- Lead the authoring of documentation such as requirements specifications, other system lifecycle deliverables – with specific focus upon agile/lean methodologies appropriate for the rapidly changing nature of the Global Commercial model(s).
- Drive and coordinate assigned digital corporate, marketing, and commercial technical capabilities and applications across Alexion teams globally (including Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Sprinkler).
- Establish collaborative relationships within Alexion Technology Services team to ensure the seamless delivery of new technologies and maintain an ongoing support model.
- Partner with corporate, marketing, and commercial to align IT digital roadmap to annual tactical plans, manage specific initiatives, and day to day operations.
- Serve as the liaison between IT and the business to make sure the organization can leverage enterprise tools, process, and standard methodologies. Including supporting solutions with their 3rd party digital vendors.
- Vendor Management - drive team to understand and evaluate the existing and potential items in the portfolio of work to align with business priorities and drive the execution of IT projects in collaboration with suppliers, business partners, team, and management.
You will need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Marketing, CS, or equivalent and work experience
- 6+ years of experience in either IT or MKT with exposure to marketing operations.
- Experience with Salesforce Marketing cloud or similar tool; specially marketing automation, social channels, and journey integration with web is a must.
- Experience with digital omnichannel to support marketing and commercial organizations.
- Experience in delivering and operationalizing global digital technologies – Solutions and products- (mobile, web, custom applications).
- Experience in project management (hybrid-waterfall-agile), development and support of complex projects and solutions.
- Experience interacting with remote onshore and offshore technical teams
- Experience working in a multi-disciplined, multi-functional matrix organization
- Experience working in Biotech or Pharmaceutical preferred but not required
- Estimation/sizing, Change Order/SOW contracting experience.
- Experience influencing and negotiating successful outcomes in both technical and business arenas.
- Demonstrate grit, clever problem-solving, honesty, team-based ambition, strong attention to detail, high character, and logical decision making.
- Excellent at informal leadership, networking, and communication.
- Requires up to 20% travel required foreign and domestic.
