Summary:
- The Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading, developing, managing and executing all aspects for maintenance with customers, suppliers, local and corporate-wide employees and the manufacturing staff.
- The incumbent is also responsible for the supervising, training and mentoring members of the Maintenance department.
- This position exists to ensure the production equipment is properly maintained in order to produce and package all products.
Job Description:
- Responsible for leading, developing, managing and executing all aspects for maintenance with customers, suppliers, local and corporate-wide employees and the manufacturing staff.
Responsible for the creation and delivery of all key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives for the Maintenance department.
Responsible for maintaining key equipment parts inventory, managing the Preventative Maintenance (PM) program, managing the Work Order system and managing the overall day-to-day activities of the department.
Develop, maintain and continuously improve on all standard operating procedures as they relate to our maintenance programs (predictive and preventative) to meet all company and customer requirements.
Evaluate the performance of direct reports against their job requirements and performance goals.
Requires partnering with Corporate regarding corporate programs and best practices.
Maintain a safety, sanitation and GMP awareness within the department.
Candidate Must Have:
.BS degree
7+ yearsplant maintenance
3+ yearsmaintenance management
Maintenance experience in the food
Leadership skills
Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate up and down the organization
Effectively interface and collaborate with different levels of management and other departments to plan, schedule work and communicate and influence across all levels of the organization
Demonstrated proficiency in developing both predictive and preventative maintenance programs.
Proficient in MS Office suite + CMMS system
Candidate-Nice to Have:
Some plant expansion, start up, commissioning and validation experience
Basic skills or proficiency in AutoCAD
OEE
CMMS - EAM,
Experience in a TPM manufacturing environment.
Familiar with food processing and packaging equipment, procurement, negotiation for purchase, and developing commissioning, validation protocols for equipment and plant systems.
OSHA, FDA, and GMP
