Summary:

  • The Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading, developing, managing and executing all aspects for maintenance with customers, suppliers, local and corporate-wide employees and the manufacturing staff.

  • The incumbent is also responsible for the supervising, training and mentoring members of the Maintenance department.

  • This position exists to ensure the production equipment is properly maintained in order to produce and package all products.

Job Description:

  • Responsible for leading, developing, managing and executing all aspects for maintenance with customers, suppliers, local and corporate-wide employees and the manufacturing staff.

  • Responsible for the creation and delivery of all key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives for the Maintenance department.

  • Responsible for maintaining key equipment parts inventory, managing the Preventative Maintenance (PM) program, managing the Work Order system and managing the overall day-to-day activities of the department.

  • Develop, maintain and continuously improve on all standard operating procedures as they relate to our maintenance programs (predictive and preventative) to meet all company and customer requirements.

  • Evaluate the performance of direct reports against their job requirements and performance goals.

  • Requires partnering with Corporate regarding corporate programs and best practices.

  • Maintain a safety, sanitation and GMP awareness within the department.


Candidate Must Have:

  • .BS degree

  • 7+ years
    plant maintenance

  • 3+ years
    maintenance management

  • Maintenance experience in the food

  • Leadership skills

  • Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate up and down the organization

  • Effectively interface and collaborate with different levels of management and other departments to plan, schedule work and communicate and influence across all levels of the organization

  • Demonstrated proficiency in developing both predictive and preventative maintenance programs.

  • Proficient in MS Office suite + CMMS system

Candidate-Nice to Have
:

  • Some plant expansion, start up, commissioning and validation experience

  • Basic skills or proficiency in AutoCAD

  • OEE

  • CMMS - EAM,

  • Experience in a TPM manufacturing environment.

  • Familiar with food processing and packaging equipment, procurement, negotiation for purchase, and developing commissioning, validation protocols for equipment and plant systems.

  • OSHA, FDA, and GMP

  • new plant expansion projects, commissioning, start up
