Job Description

As a Senior-Level Subject Matter Expert, you will perform the following duties in support of the Command, Control, Communications, Computers, & Intelligence (C4I) network for a DoD client in Saint Inigoes, MD:

• Coordinate with the National Guard Bureau Joint Staff (NGB-J5) (State Partnership Program [SPP]), Geographic Combatant Commands and Weapons of Mass Destruction Civil Support Teams (WMD-CST) to integrate Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) equities in current and future SPP engagements
• Coordinate with the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) to ensure capability developments for the WMD-CST are cutting edge and dependable to conduct CWMD mission sets
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to the WMD-CST Branch Chief
• Participate in Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) and Joint forum engagements to ensure WMD-CST capabilities and expertise are available in support of Combatant Commandant’s Security Cooperation/ Building Partnership capacity initiatives
• Support future capability development of the CST in support of combatant command, interagency, and state requirements for Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) prevention and response missions

Must Have:

• Active Secret security clearance

• Self-starter: ability to work with limited supervision
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to communicate and coordinate using software tools like MS Office, including Teams, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Visio

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with Principles of Project Management
• Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

Years of Experience Required:

• At least five (5) years of relevant experience

Training/Degree Requirements:

• BS degree in a relevant discipline, or BS degree in a non-related field with at least nine (9) years of relevant experience

Delivery:

• If hired, the employee would be able to work primarily remote, but would also need to be available to travel to Arlington, VA as required
