Theory Design – provides innovative, luxury interior design services for first-class residential, commercial and hospitality properties. We work directly with high-end builders, architects, landscape architects and others to deliver holistic products that capitalize on location, infrastructure and other characteristics.

Earth Tech Enterprises – utilizes the latest technology to reshape the landscape of Florida for future communities. Our services include mining, aggregate processing, land development, lake bank restoration, beach and shoreline projects, environmental services, and marine services.

INTERIOR DESIGNER CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Identifies and fully understands the client scope of work.

2. Communicates and works with clients throughout the entire interior design process.

3. Sources interior finishes, hard and soft furnishings, lighting, and interior details.

4. Creates and executes design concepts, interior detail drawings and presentation materials.

5. Reviews finish schedules and keeps organized records of all project details.

6. Generates complete Interior Design documents based on Theory ID standards.

7. Coordinates multiple projects simultaneously.

8. Ensures accurate and timely order placements and ongoing management.

9. Leader with full oversight of design project installations.

10. Maintains an overall luxury experience by supporting clients with expertise and courtesy.

11. Tracks project time daily and completes projects on schedule and within established budgets.

12. Coordinates with Project Managers & ensures construction needs are met in a timely manner.

13. Ensures project work is accurately recorded, billable time is documented, and reviews bi-monthly invoices prior to client submission. Invoice review with clients as needed.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Maintains a thorough knowledge of market design trends.

2. Helps manage materials library.

3. Works in close harmony with contractors and vendors.

Quality Communication:

The Senior Interior Designer must have superior presentation and communication skills, both in verbal and written form, as well as be able to take direction and work independently to meet deadlines.

Artistic Abilities:

The Senior Interior Designer must have strong artistic skills, including hand-rendering and sketching capabilities.

Customer Service Skills:

The Senior Interior Designer must be able to identify clients’ needs and provide a first-class experience to clients via attention to detail and outstanding problem-solving skills.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, the Interior Designer must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Experience with Design Manager software is a plus.

Education/Experience:

Minimum of 10 years as lead interior designer, with residential new construction experience required; knowledge of interior finishes, furniture, codes and construction process; degree in interior design or related field preferred.

Certificates:

NCIDQ certification (preferred)
