Ingenovis Health is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer with 5+ years of experience to join our growing tech team. Ingenovis Health is among the largest healthcare workforce solutions companies in North America.
In this role, you will be a member of our US-based engineering team and will report directly to our Director of Engineering. Our team is distributed across the continent and there is an additional team based in Australia so this is truly a remote-first opportunity. You will be working on one or more of the following technology initiatives:
  • CMS-driven marketing platforms designed to attract the best candidate talent to work for us.
  • Candidate-facing portals and mobile apps for collecting profile information, resume details, and qualifications/credentials as well as avenues to discover and apply for jobs.
  • Internal-facing operations platforms to support our teams performing:
o Recruiting (finding candidates for open jobs).
o Submittals (submitting a candidate to a hospital).
o Credentialing (verifying that candidates are qualified to work a position).
A little about our frontend tech stack:
  • Our primary programming language is Typescript.
  • We are using Next.JS to build out our new web-based product experiences.
    • We are using Capacitor.JS for our mobile apps to maximize shared code between our web-based and mobile-based experiences.
  • We are using Contentful as a CMS to drive our marketing websites.
  • We are using Auth0 as an identity solution for authenticating nurses.
  • We deploy our software in AWS in EKS / Kubernetes.
  • A little about our backend tech stack:
  • For simple integration services, we use Next.JS API routes.
  • For more complex services touching data, we use Python and in particular FastAPI.
  • Where we need a relational database, we use PostgreSQL.
Knowledge/experience we expect you to have on Day 1:
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience building and releasing front-end and/or full-stack software solutions.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience using React.
  • Extensive knowledge of modern React, including functional components and hooks.
  • Previous experience with Typescript and the typing of codebases.
  • Thorough understanding of the fundamental concepts of:Styling of frontend user interfaces via CSS, including modern techniques like flexbox, grid, transitions/animations.; The HTTP/S protocol and making requests to APIs and services with fetch or similar; Asynchronous coding patterns including Promises and async / await.
  • Deep knowledge of source control using git.
  • Experience in of each part of software development life cycle (requirements, design, implementation, testing, maintenance).
Essential functions and responsibilities:
  • Designs and builds web-based applications in Next.JS / React for both internal users and external healthcare professional job seekers.
  • Designs and builds API routes in Next.JS to connect to APIs and services developed externally by vendors or internally.
  • Interacts with our Auth0 implementation to design and build out authentication/identity solutions for our applications.
  • Interacts with our Contentful-based CMS via GraphQL to retrieve content for display in our applications and marketing sites.
  • Writes automated tests using jest to guarantee confidence in built solutions when deployed.
  • Reviews PRs on GitHub written by other team members and offers constructive advice.
  • Collaborates with members of the Product, Design, and QA team to understand or offer technical input into requirements, UI designs, and QA-executed test cases.
  • Reviews logs, errors, and performance data to identify potential areas of technical improvement for the team.
  • Works with our DevOps team to make sure software solutions are deployed into our AWS environments correctly. Offers input to engineering leadership on development process and evolution.
  • Performs additional duties as requested by management.

Pay Range: 104,400.00 - 130,500.00 - 156,600.00 USD /yr, based on location, qualifications, and experience
