WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
- Support clinical, analytics, and finance leaders across the organization to develop, forecast, and track population health and care management programs
- Support the development of ad-hoc reporting and monitoring processes for a variety of care model program
- Pull and analyze data from multiple sources including claims, provider, member, and encounters data and multiple platforms- EHR, Excel.Google sheets, Tableau to identify insights and assess the business impact of trends.
- Share complex data in presentations that are simple to understand that can facilitate and deliver insights that drive action with senior leaders.
- Support the development of ad-hoc reporting and monitoring
- Measure project effectiveness and demonstrate value to business
- Develop and troubleshoot complex scripts and reports using SQL, Excel, or other analytics tools
- Communicate technical topics to non-technical audiences with limited guidance
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor’s degree in related field, ideally in business, economics or communications
- 5-7 years experience in an analytics or finance role and/or health economics at a rapidly-growing company of a similar size/structure/growth phase.
- 2+ years of experience working within the healthcare industry; 1+ years of experience working with large databases, data verification, and data management
- 1-2 years experience with SQL. able to read, write in SQL
- Experience working with health insurance claims data sets; experience in an ACO or health plan environment preferred
- Ability to integrate, validate, and reconcile data from multiple sources as well as design and construct analyses and tools that extract, prepare, analyze, and store/present results to support business needs
- Knowledge of query development using SQL or other coding languages
- Extremely proficient in Excel/Google sheets, Tableau
- Experienced in data visualization; can share complex data in presentations that are simple to understand that can facilitate and deliver insights that drive action with a variety of stakeholders.
- Comfortable owning team deliverables under pressure and ambiguity
- Good business and technical acumen
- Able to work in a highly matrixed environment that is heavily team based in getting results
- Willingness to learn, lead and adapt
