Position Overview
To support our rapid growth, we are currently looking for multiple Data Analysts to be part of the Data Engineering team that builds big data systems to enable a data-driven company. This position will be a valuable member of our team and is expected to open data visibility to the whole organization, provide key metrics to all levels of leadership to support decision-making and build data models to enable AI/ML recommendations to customers.
Requirements
- At least 8 years’ experience in the data engineer area.
- Strong data modeling with SQL skill is a must-have. Strong data architect experience.
- Solid hands-on experience on working with operational data, e.g. Google Analytics, Marketing Ads Performance track, Live Stream Shopping, ContentSquare and A/B testing performance tracking… etc.
- Experience with building ETL/ELT data pipelines to pull data into a centralized data warehouse and perform data modeling and analysis.
- Leadership experience with velocity team
- Experience with Machine Learning on recommendation and forecasting.
- Proficiency with Python.
- A commitment to quality with velocity
- An enthusiastic approach to taking on new opportunities and challenges.
- Strong experience with end to end project delivery including requirement gathering, communication with stakeholders, architect design,implementation and QA process.
- Professional technology design documentation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning or Engineering fields.
- Familiar with at least one of the business domains: Finance, Marketing, e-Commerce, Manufacturing, Logistics and/or Customer Service
- Willing to provide support to help team members to grow and develop.
As of 01/01/2023, the expected salary range for this position is $140,000 to $180,000 CAD annually. Actual pay within this range will be based upon several factors, including without limitation education, work experience, certifications, geographic pay differentials, market conditions, and other business and organizational needs. The Company anticipates that the reasonable expected salary for this position could change in the future and, therefore, the Company retains the right to change, modify, or revisit the salary range for the position for various reasons, including the Company’s business needs.
