We are now hiring a full-time salaried Senior Data Architect to join our team at our corporate HQs in Indianapolis, IN.
Senior Data Architect | About You
As the Senior Data Architect, you will be responsible for architecting, designing, and overseeing the implementation of end-to-end data-driven solutions. Must be highly analytical and have the proven ability to develop and reverse complex engineering solutions. Critical thinking and advanced problem-solving skills are core behaviors among the team. Strong team and project lead experience will be valuable for this role.
Senior Data Architect | Day-to-Day
- Assessing current and future states to provide a road map for data solutions.
- Designs, develops, and tests databases, data warehouses, data lakes, queries and views, reports, and dashboards.
- Take ownership of technical solutions from a design and architecture perspective for projects in the presales phase as well as ongoing projects.
- Documents new and existing models, solutions, and implementation.
- Build modern approaches to automating data pipelines.
Senior Data Architect | Skills & Experience
- Experience with architecting designs and solutions, including the migration planning of existing data and systems.
- Expert-level SQL skills including Stored Procedures and Performance Tuning.
- Able to quickly visualize data and create dashboards using other tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Alteryx are preferred.
- Solid understanding of ETL strategies and design, (staging environments, data transformation, change data capture, slowly changing dimensions, etc.), with an eye toward delivering functional and valuable solutions in a timely manner.
- Deeply understands bi-directional MDM.
