**This position is onsite/hybrid in Cedar Falls, IA**
Primary Function:
Perform the credit and collection functions at Viking Pump, Cedar Falls and Viking Pump Hygienic. Maintain effective customer relationships to ensure the ease of business. Develop timely & accurate accounts receivable forecast and reporting for Viking Cedar Falls, and Viking Pump Hygienic.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist with application of cash collections to customer accounts.
  • Diligently follow-up with customers to promptly resolve past due invoices to maintain outstanding balances at or below acceptable limits.
  • Evaluate credit worthiness of customers and set or approve corresponding credit limits and selling terms.
  • Perform A/R analysis of actual results vs forecast. Working with Viking customers and internal sales team members to solve disputes involving Viking invoices and credit memos.
  • Follow all credit and collection policies and procedures, per IDEX Corporate requirements.
  • Maintain customer credit files in compliance with IDEX policy.
  • Assist with accounts receivable reporting for use by Viking and IDEX management.
  • Perform required credit limit analysis on current customers for review by Finance Manager.
  • Complete sales and use tax filings as required for appropriate states.
  • Complete International Sales reporting as required by IDEX Corporate.
  • Provide various other financial reporting to Viking and IDEX management.
  • Responsible for all Sarbanes-Oxley compliance issues related to revenue recognition, accounts receivable, and credit functions.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience Requirements:
  • B.S. or B.A. in Accounting, Finance or other related field preferred
  • 1-3 years credit and collections or related experience
Other Special Requirements:
  • Goal oriented self-starter.
  • Ability to conduct professional financial analysis & utilize various financial concepts to arrive at credit decisions.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must be able to research and resolve problems with customers and accounts receivable system and invoices.
Computer Skills:
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • JDEdward and OneStream experience a plus, however may be obtained based on training provided.
  • Working knowledge of Dun & Bradstreet credit reporting and online system.
