Senior Compensation Analyst Job at US Acute Care Solutions
Reporting to the VP Total Rewards, the Senior Compensation Analyst is responsible for supporting the organization's total rewards strategy. The Senior Compensation Analyst plays an integral role in the design, development, implementation, administration and communication of total rewards with a primary focus on compensation (base pay, incentives and special recognition). As part of the Total Rewards team, this role plays a critical role in supporting the aggressive growth and performance of USACS.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Overall analysis of compensation plans from a cost, competitiveness, and employee impact perspective
- Job evaluation to appropriately assess roles in the context of external market value, internal equity, and USACS’ organizational mission/philosophy
- Compensation planning to support the strategic business needs for individual client groups and well as organizational needs
- Continual monitoring of the marketplace to ensure programs are competitive and appropriately positioned
- Providing leadership and training to business managers with regards to compensation processes and tools
- Serves as main contact for day-to-day compensation matters; escalates issues to VP Total Rewards as needed
- Designs, implements and administers compensation programs including base pay, incentives, annual compensation planning and market analysis.
- Develops communication plans related to compensation programs including annual merit and bonus programs
- Collaborates with Finance to ensure appropriate budgets and accruals are set for compensation programs
- Collaborates cross-functionally on both internal and external offers; makes recommendations for review with VP Total Rewards
- Performs other duties as required
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to think outside the box
- Strong knowledge of compensation programs and laws including base and variable pay
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Attentive to detail, follow-up; deadline oriented; very strong ability to prioritize and multi-task
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or HR required
- Four to six years of progressive responsibility in compensation design, analysis and administration
- Healthcare experience preferred
- Workday experience preferred
