Senior CAD Designer Job at BP&R Engineering
CAD Designer
- Seeking highly motivated, well versed individual with the desire to expand their abilities and be exposed to a wide range of work in the Consulting Engineer field.
- Associates degree in drafting or design is preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working CAD Designer is preferred. Will also consider less experience.
- Typical projects allow our designers to be in the field and be hands on as well as have design time in the office setting.
- Wide range of tasks encountered as a Consulting Engineer working for BP&R. Experience in the following tasks is preferred. Desire to learn and expand skill set is also highly desired.
Designer Tasks
Work with our staff of engineers on:
- Floor Plans - developing building and equipment layout floor plans
- Mechanical Piping layouts, 3D drawings
- P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation) plan development
- HVAC layout and duct routing
- Structural Steel plans, for buildings, structures, platforms, etc.
- Industrial Process Piping layouts, 3D drawings
- Electrical Power plans
- Electrical Single line diagrams
- Control Panel layouts and wiring diagrams
Familiarity with the following software is preferred:
- MS Office Suite
- AutoCad
- AutoCad Revit
- Bentley Microstation
Compensation and Benefits
- Compensation is hourly

- Location based in Holland and/or Kalamazoo Office. Travel to client sites in area as required and travel out of state occasionally.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Supplemental pay types:
- Bonus pay
