Job Description:

We are currently seeking an Engineering Tools Associate to work in a fast paced and demanding environment. This role demands that you have the ability and desire to work with a variety of functions and teams to maintain Engineering configuration management and development tools for new and existing avionics products. You must be flexible, dynamic and proactively communicate with co-workers, management and customers. Finally, you must excel in managing your own time and prioritizing multiple requests and demands, and you must thrive in an environment where you enjoy making contributions that positively impact the company’s success.

Essential Functions:

  • Support and Configure Engineering Tools
  • Develop and maintain engineering metrics via Excel and PowerBI
  • Write up work instructions as needed for tool updates or changes
  • Work directly with software and hardware engineers to understand and support their work environment.
  • Create and maintain tools infrastructure including user maintenance

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelors Degree with 1-2 years of experience working within a engineering design organization within a regulated environment.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Expert in Microsoft Tools with a focus on Excel and PowerBI
  • Ability to take verbal or written direction and work independently
  • Strong organization skills: disciplined, sets priorities, meets deadlines, handles multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Demonstrates ability to take initiative to eliminate barriers and uses resources to ensure desired results.
