Key Responsibilities Include: *Formulates, develops, and coordinates all safety and loss control functions of the organization. *Designs and directs a program to reduce accidents, occupational illnesses, and exposure to long-term health hazards, proper job instruction, new employee indoctrination, physical protection, planned job observation, rules and practices, job analysis/procedures, disposal procedures, and protective equipment.

- Formulates, develops, and coordinates all safety and loss control functions of the organization.
- Designs and directs a program to reduce accidents, occupational illnesses, and exposure to long-term health hazards through safety-training of all managers, planned inspections, skill training, first-aid care, emergency preparedness, proper job instruction, new employee indoctrination, physical protection, planned job observation, rules and practices, job analysis/procedures, disposal procedures, and protective equipment.
- Maintains compliance with governmental regulatory agencies.
- Responsible for identifying causes of past accidents.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of tasks.
- Leads and directs the work of others. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department.
- Zero to 3 years of Facility Security or experience in a field related area. Familiar with concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
- High Pressure Boiler License required or able to obtain within 6 months.
- SAMA within the first 30 days of employment.
