RESPONSIBILITIES:
A Kforce enterprise banking client in Charlotte, NC is seeking a SAS Engineer to support a project with multiple subject areas. This role is for employment with Kforce. Subcontracting is not permitted.

Responsibilities:
  • The SAS Engineer will ingest data from different sources into SAS
  • Building models in SAS per collected requirements
  • Deliver analytical reports based on models built in SAS
  • As a SAS Engineer, you will be handling all analytics and reporting needs
REQUIREMENTS:
  • 3-4 years of SAS/SAS EG experience
  • 3-4 years of SQL experience
  • 1-2 years of SAS Viya experience
  • 1+ years of Tableau experience for data analysis
Top Skills/Experience:
  • SAS EG - advanced skills writing code and building models for data mart
  • SAS Viya
  • SQL - advanced skills utilizing data and writing queries
  • Writing CRON Jobs for automating SAS processes
  • Story telling ability with data
  • Excel - advanced skills like writing macros, Pivot table, Power query, etc.
  • PowerPoint - advanced skills like building report templates
Soft Skills:
  • Critical thinking
  • Communication - intakes & presentations
  • Independent and team worker
  • Self-starter and able to manage their own objectives
  • May be required to solve puzzles or work with unclear parameters
Highly Preferred:
  • Python
  • Tableau
