What You’ll Do:
- Lead and manage the design, development, and maintenance of SAP data architecture for the DOD customer project.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders, including the DOD customer, project team members, and SAP vendors, to identify data architecture requirements and ensure that they align with the customer's needs and expectations.
- Design and develop data architecture for SAP applications, including data modeling, database design, and data integration.
- Develop and implement data management policies, procedures, and standards for SAP applications that comply with DOD quality standards and contractual requirements.
- Ensure that all data architecture documentation related to SAP applications, including plans, reports, and deliverables, comply with DOD quality standards and contractual requirements.
- Provide guidance and support to project team members on SAP data architecture best practices and procedures.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to promote SAP data architecture awareness and understanding among project team members.
- Establish and maintain relationships with DOD stakeholders, including the customer, project team members, and SAP vendors, to facilitate effective communication and collaboration on SAP data architecture matters.
- Develop and maintain SAP data architecture metrics and reporting to monitor and report on project performance to senior management.
Who We are Looking For:
Summary of the type of person / skill set you are looking for: We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated SAP Data Architect to lead the design, development, and maintenance of SAP data architecture for a Department of Defense (DOD) customer project. As the SAP Data Architect, you will be responsible for ensuring that all data architecture aspects of the project related to SAP applications comply with DOD quality standards and contractual requirements, and that project deliverables meet customer expectations.
Required Qualifications:
- US Citizenship required (must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security clearance)
- Must hold a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
- Must have at least 5 years of experience architecting/developing solutions in SAP
- Must have 7 years combined SAP data architecture design and development, preferably in a defense or government contracting environment, plus one of the following:
- SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM)
- SAP Transportation Management (TM)
- SAP ERP Central Component (ECC) or SAP Business Suite 4 SAP High-Performance Analytic Appliance (HANA)
- SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) or other workflow tool to manage SAP master data
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in high complexity problem solving and provide demonstrated knowledge across multiple technical areas and business segments.
- Must have at least 2 years of experience functional as well technical resources in delivering SAP solutions for the Department of Defense (DoD)
- Foster speed to value by scoping minimally viable products.
- Active DOD Secret Clearance
