Responsibilities and duties of Dish Room Worker:
- Clean assigned areas throughout (inside & outside) the facility
- Mopping, sweeping, dusting, polishing, scouring, and any other cleaning related functions as assigned
- Responsible for cleaning & organized dishes, trays & equipment in a timely manner
- Unload/receive and separate items from catering carts & carriers
- Properly discard disposable items
- Cleans/loads dishes, glassware, silverware, trolleys, trays & equipment
- Unloads, stacks & organizes clean dishes, trays & equipment
- Distributes clean dishes, trays & equipment to departments as required
- Report problems, inconsistencies & breakdowns
- Ensures compliance with the quality standard, FDA, HACCP & all other regulations
QUALIFICATIONS; EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Work assigned schedule which may include nights, weekends, and holidays
- Work overtime when required
- Pass a criminal background and drug test
- Wear personal protective equipment as required
