Miner
Sand facility. We are seeking individuals to help operate equipment and perform tasks needed within our sand and gravel operation.
JOB SUMMARY
Work as part of a team to work with, maintain and operate mining equipment. You will work operating equipment to keep the production flowing. Safety is a top priority.
LOCATION
Dekalb, TX
EDUCATION
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Sand or Gravel mining experience is preferred.
- Maintenance experience is a must.
- Plant experience is a must.
- Heavy equipment operator experience is a must.
DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform the physical duties of the work in all types of weather conditions.
- Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment such as pay loader, and haul truck.
- Perform minor servicing and maintenance on mobile equipment as needed, using ladders to access platforms and landings.
- Display good communication skills including the ability to understand and follow verbal and written direction and instructions.
- Learn a variety of work skills associated with sand, gravel mining and operations.
- Safely and efficiently use a variety of hand and power tools.
- Read, understand and follow safety rules and regulations and procedures.
- Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the general public at all times.
- Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.
SCHEDULE
Monday to Friday. Some Saturdays possible.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
