Sales Representative (Full-Time)

We’re headquartered in California, but your location can be anywhere between Pacific and Central time zones. Work will mostly be via web conferences and phone and hours of work will be based on US-West coast time. All training and work will be done remotely wherever you are, but you need to have a reliable internet connection.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and education in a related field, required
  • 3-5 years of experience in the sales industry
  • Experience with full life cycle project management (initiation, planning and design, and executing), execution of strategic and targeted business plans
  • Strong organizational skills with the proven ability to prioritize
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Works with a sense of urgency, while engaging and listening to experts
  • Ability to create and deliver materials and well-reasoned recommendations for executive decision- making
  • Excellent analytical skills, problem resolution skills, general business acumen
  • Exhibits a high degree of flexibility in adapting to a rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to travel at least 25% of the time
  • Ability to drive a car and possess a valid driver’s license and adequate auto insurance
  • Basic knowledge of internet, Office 365, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, email, social media platforms and internal systems; "Ability to use standard office equipment including photocopier, fax machine, telephone.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate sales leads with new customers
  • Responds to owners, directors, customers via telephone, while meeting all corporate guidelines and performance standards
  • Fully understand services and resources TenisiTech can provide
  • Create a customer target list and have available to be reviewed if requested by management
  • Collaborate with sales team on strategy to gain new business
  • Maintain relationships with current customers on a monthly basis
  • Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values.
  • Provide and analyze market intelligence and business development opportunities.
  • Build, retain, and grow relationships with clients and staff.
  • Refine target list and add to list of targets on a continual basis.
  • Respond appropriately to sales related questions and concerns from prospective clients.
  • Sell in accordance with company policy, procedure and culture.
  • Accurately report daily sales activities when directed
  • Perform skills necessary to create a high-quality customer experience.
  • Achieve defined sales objectives within the timeframe discussed.
  • Organize & participate in weekly meetings/training sessions
  • Adhere to all policies and guidelines set forth in the Employee handbook and policy & procedure manual.
  • Articulate the compelling advantages of the services and projects to prospective clients.
  • Demonstrates technical selling skills to effectively present TenisiTech’s services to potential clients.
  • Complete understanding of pricing models.
  • Demonstrates the ability to carry on a business conversation with business owners and/or decision makers.
  • Demonstrate ability to interact and cooperate with company employees.
  • Responsible for sourcing and developing client relationships and referrals.
  • Maintain an in-depth professional level of technical knowledge.
  • Maximizes all opportunities in the process of closing a sale resulting in the taking of market share from larger competitors.
  • Develops a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, face to face cold calling on business owners, direct mail, email, and networking.
  • Demonstrates the ability to gather, submit detailed business information for pricing, and presentation of solutions to identified prospects' business problems.
  • Collaborate with internal departments on fulfilling customer needs, determining strategy.
  • Maintains accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

The holder of this position will encounter typical office and travel environments. This position requires the employee to be in good physical condition. While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to have adequate auditory ability and to communicate verbally. The employee is often required to sit and drive. The employee is also required to travel via airplane frequently (or as needed), which involves sitting in an airplane for extended periods of time, lifting luggage or personal items and being comfortable with flying. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision. The employee will perform light to moderate lifting (40 pounds or less to waist level) and carrying with some stooping or crouching to pick up items. The employee must have the visual acuity to see clearly up close and read on paper and the computer smaller fonts (10 to 12 point) and to safely operate a vehicle.
