Job Summary:
Direct Companies is looking to add an experienced Sales Manager to our team. The Sales Manager fills a vital role in supporting Direct Companies goal of developing and maintaining customer relationships to grow our business. This position will solicit, negotiate, and foster relationships with new and existing business for all aspects of our company: Direct Technology, Direct Data Management and Direct Automation.
Duties may include but are not limited to the following:
- Solicitation and servicing of new and existing accounts
- Conduct sales activities including telemarketing, cold-calls and prospecting of new business.
- Schedules and completes sales appointments.
- Organizes, maintains, and tracks sales efforts.
- Continue to expand client base for all divisions of Direct Companies; Direct Technology, Direct Data Management and Direct Automation.
- Other responsibilities include building solid business relationships with companies, creating innovative ways to attract and retain current clients.

- Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; develops alternative solutions and uses reason even when dealing with high importance topics.
- Ability to manage difficult customer situations; including the ability to respond promptly to customers needs for service and assistance.

- Knowledge of the technology, data management and automation industries.

- Strong organizational and planning skills.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- 5 to 7 years of previous sales experience preferred.
- Degree in business management or similar discipline preferred.
- Valid Driver’s license required.
