Your Role

These highly motivated and engaging individuals act as a bridge between our customers and Customer Care Locations and are responsible for developing new business as well as growing existing business that is in line with the Sea Logistics sales strategies. He/she is an integral part of the success of the organization and this role requires a keen understanding of the Transpacific Eastbound market, a willingness to close Blue Anchor Line America business, a high level of autonomy, an ability to develop win themes/solutions, and the use of compliant selling methods. A positive, inclusive attitude and high level of professionalism are essential for this position.

Your Responsibilities

  • Create a Sales Plan and implement that plan to success.
  • Partner with operations to apply specialized knowledge relative to the assigned your department and trade lane (where applicable).
  • Conduct customer visits, calls, presentations, quarterly business reviews, negotiations and contracts.
  • Input and update of sales activities using Client Relationship Management system
  • You will ensure transitioning of customer to operations following customer requirements.
  • Demonstrate expertise on all company products / service offerings and manage the sales of these offerings.
  • You will use all resources at your disposal to ensure success and appropriate customer service while complying with all regulatory requirements.
  • Liase/Partner with teams on RFQ, pricing and handover preparation.

Your Skills and Experiences

  • BS or Certificate in Logistics / Supply Chain / International business / Project Management.
  • 2 years field sales in freight forwarding.
  • 2 years of operational experience.
  • Experience with logistics processes and solutions.
