SALES COORDINATOR

Eternity Floors USA a well-known supplier of high-quality floor covering products servicing specialty flooring retailers seeks an experienced OUTSIDE ACCOUNT MANAGER – LA / VALLEY, CA

SUMMARY: This is position is responsible for overseeing OUR National Sales Account Managers and operations to ensure the attainment of established sales objectives.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Develops and manages account managers.

· Continually supports and motivates sales team.

· Manages the daily activities of account managers; oversees lead control, pricing approvals, safety, and customer satisfaction.

· Develops and manages sales and support programs to ensure achievement of annual objectives.

· Prepares and monitors sales budget/forecast.

· Continually gathers and monitors information on competition and market trends; communicates information to sales account managers and others as needed.

· Oversees preparation of sales proposals and tools; participates in sales presentations as needed.

· Understands and communicates information regarding company products, services, and policies and procedures to account managers.

· Possesses and maintains thorough knowledge of flooring and service industry product and sales information.

· Coordinates team strategic sales meetings.

· Provides day-to-day guidance and oversight of subordinates; actively works to promote and recognize performance.

· Monitors overall activities of sales account managers; identifies problem areas and directs corrective actions.

· Provides timely and accurate reports as required.

· Will work the schedule as afforded by senior management (between 8-12 hours per day).

· Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Will supervise National Account Manager(s).

· Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

· Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Qualifications (Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Experience)

  • Successful track record in an outsides sales environment (preferably within the flooring industry Minimum 2 years)
  • Solid analytical skills in identifying client needs and aligning them to product offerings; Specification analysis and RFP (request for proposal) response preparation a plus
  • College B.A. / B.S. degree (preferred)
  • Demonstrated expertise in the principles of collaborative sales technique
  • Ability to travel frequently throughout the sales territory
  • Computer skills required: Database Software and Electronic Mail Software (Outlook)
  • Other skills required:
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Minimum Skills: Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
  • Minimum Skills: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two-step instructions.

  • Walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Sit, climb, or balance.
  • Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.

  • Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
  • May be exposed to a wide range of temperatures.
  • The noise level is usually loud.
