We are seeking a Firearm Range Officer to become an integral part of our team. This is a full time temporary position. The selected individual will patrol the firearm range, assist and ensure the safety of all range patrons, and also maintain the range.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor range patrons to ensure safety and the following of rules and policies
- Greet and assist range patrons as needed to ensure a pleasant shooting experience
- Make range patrons aware if they are violating a rule or policy
- Maintain the appearance and operation of the range
Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge and handling skills for most firearms including pistols, revolvers, rifles, and shotguns
- Be able to convey that knowledge to range patrons to ensure proper and safe firearm handling
- Personable and sociable with strong verbal communication skills
- Any type of mechanical experience is a plus
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Strong attention to detail
- Flexible availability
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
