Our Remote Sensing Device, (RSD) measures exhaust emissions from vehicles. It is mobile and can be set up anywhere.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Daily operation of the RSD (Remote Sensing Device)
  • Daily set up and break down of the RSD and related equipment.
  • Compile and deliver collected emissions data, as instructed.
  • Support data processing activities as needed.
  • Satisfactorily complete ongoing on the job training with RSD, van and equipment.
  • Maintain service log on company vehicle and activity log on data collection.
  • Travel to designated data collection sites
  • Full Set up and Breakdown capabilities of light-duty manned and unmanned RSD 5000 Equipment as well as heavy-duty manned RSD 5000 equipment that involves towers.
  • Trouble Shooting and minor repair skill on RSD 5000 Equipment.
  • Knowledge of required set up and road parameters and ability to follow local guidelines.
  • Ability to calibrate all equipment to a pre-determined standards
  • Perform QA checks on the RSD every few hours
  • Repair and reconstruction of damaged equipment. Ability to correctly harvest from damaged units.
  • Follow proper procedures; operate remote sensing equipment at designated sites as directed by administrator/supervisor
  • Flexible schedule required. Up to 40% travel
Requirements:
Qualifications:
  • Verbal and written English communications skills. Other spoken languages are a plus.
  • Windows 10 OS, e-mail and word processing computer skills.
  • Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds.
  • Ability to read and understand equipment and procedure manuals.
  • Effectively communicate equipment problems to technical support personnel.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Product Knowledgeability to train others in a quick deployment setting.
  • Training skills to set up and lead sessions and prepare others for off-site deployments.
  • Communication and public speaking ability. Able to lead and perform Q & A at a demonstration with various State and Government Agencies, once trained and versed on Equipment.
  • Ability to travel extensively as needed both nationally and internationally for extended periods and work under the direction of other program managers
  • Comfortable in both solitary and group setting work environments
Requirements:
  • Valid US Driver's License
  • Ability to be insured by our auto insurance carrier.
  • Valid US Passport (can be achieved after hire)
