Position Overview
Performs shop in-process inspection and approves outgoing product by performing the following duties.
Essential Job Functions
- Reads drawings and blueprints to effectively qualify machined products
- Uses basic measuring equipment (height gages, bore gages, muller gages, etc.)
- Reads and interprets Control Plans.
- Runs basic CMM and M&M programs.
- Performs cell product audits and documents inspection results
- Preforms Final Audits before shipping to customer
- Preforms outgoing product audits before shipping to outside operations
- Maintains records of all measurements
- Other duties may be assigned.
**Education
**– High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
**Experience/Training
** – 3-year related experience or training.
