We are looking for a Route Relief Driver in the

Cedar Rapids, IA area.

Cold Front Distribution is a growing Frozen Foods Distribution company based in Denver, CO that offers its employees competitive benefits and substantial pay while providing an annual work boot allowance, uniforms provided along with a company cell phone.

Job Requirements:

• Knowledge of DSD and retail food business practices required.
• Environment varies significantly with time spent driving a company vehicle and delivering, moving or lifting product up to 50lbs.
• Qualified candidates must pass post offer / pre-employment background check, DOT physical, drug screening and have a satisfactory MVR.
• Responsible for covering Cedar Rapids and Waterloo areas and possible travel to other areas for relief.

Job Responsibilities:

• Essential duties include but not limited to working with/training with supervisor or route sales, driving a company truck. Class B CDL preferred.
• Delivery and pick up of freezer equipment to stores, equipment tracking, merchandising frozen food product, and assisting with other items as needed.
• Ensure face-to-face communication at each account with store manager, co-manager, grocery manager, frozen food manager and receiving clerk.
• This position may be required to run overnight and/or out – of – town routes for route relief.
• Apply accurate invoice procedures and communication with iPhone and printer devices.
• Support DSD environment and develop and maintain professional relationships with all key personnel at all accounts to fulfill customer service and business needs requirements.

Benefits

· $52,000 annually DOE

· Vacation – 2 weeks accrued in the 1st year of employment

· PTO – 3 days accrued in the 1st year of employment

· Sick – 4 days accrued in the 1st year of employment

· Medical, Dental and Vision – available after 60 days of employment then 1stof the following month.

· Life and Short Term/Long Term disability – 100% paid by company

· 401k Retirement package after 60 days - the company currently is matching 50% of what you want to contribute, up to 6%.

Pay: $52,000.00 per year
