NESN's Rotational Player Program - Business track, is designed to develop entry level employees within NESN. Participants will be placed in a 12-month rotation program, consisting of three rotations across key business lines and functional teams. Rotations include teams such as Sales, Marketing/PR, Finance or Traffic. Rotations are designed to provide hands-on experience in different roles and business activities to help program participants develop a comprehensive understanding of each business area and the overall industry. Participants are placed in our most meaningful and critical roles across the network.
Rotations will include on-the-job learning, mentoring, skills training, and the ability to contribute to the operations critical to NESN's success. Successful program participants will be placed into permanent roles within NESN upon program completion where the collective knowledge, skills and experience gained through the program can be applied.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support key tasks and projects within each department you are assigned to, including Sales, Marketing/PR, Finance or Traffic.
Qualifications:
- Completing a BA/BS degree Business Management/Administration, Operations, Finance, Marketing, or other business-related degrees
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 (both cumulative and major)
- 0-2 years of experience from a previous internship, coursework, or through a student organization.
- Strong interest in television and digital industry; ability to work in a fast-paced, ever changing environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Demonstrated experience with or interest in as Sales, Marketing/PR, Finance or Traffic
- Proficient with MS Office applications - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; proven ability to learn and apply new software applications quickly; solid Internet research skills.
- Change management, innovative mindset, and demonstrated problem solving ability.
- Enthusiasm for learning and commitment to career development
- Versatility, adaptability, and comfort with ambiguity
- Ability to work independently while also adopting a collaborative approach to achieving results.
