WE ARE LOOKING FOR A ROPES COURSE DIRECTOR FOR SUMMER 2023.

Summary: To ensure that the ropes course program is being safely and effectively implemented, which includes safely using equipment and elements and supervising our ropes course staff while they implement ropes course programs.

We are looking for a safety conscious, energetic individual over 21 years of age to assume responsibility to ensure the delivery of our challenge course elements while managing the potential associated risks for the Summer of 2021! In addition, the candidate should have a strong facilitation and challenge course background and are comfortable and experienced in working with diverse groups. Apply today!

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Challenge Course Director is responsible for the planning, management, and implementation of all Challenge Course Elements. The Challenge Course Director is responsible for High Ropes, Low Ropes, Rock Wall, Climbing Tower and programming that allow all campers to achieve goals as a group, while providing the chance to challenge themselves. This position is full time seasonally.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience leading groups on a high and low ropes element, challenge course, team building, etc.
• Proven technical skills in the set-up and use of top rope belay systems in an outdoor setting.
• Willingness to accept responsibilities and duties other than those assigned.
