Registered Nurses (RNs) provide professional nursing care to assigned patients including recording patient histories, administering medications, and developing patient care plans in conjunction with other medical professionals.
Position Requirements
- Licensed as an RN
- Minimum of one (1) year Nursing experience
- Federal, State, and Zeal Clinical Staffing and facility required credentials current and on file
- Cognitive skills as related to the position
Position Responsibilities
- Provide bedside care
- Administer medications and document therapeutic effects
- Maintain accurate and complete health care records and reports
- Record vital signs and medical information
- Monitor, report, and record symptoms or changes in patient conditions
- Prepare and administer injections
- Assess, implement, plan, and evaluate patient nursing care plans with healthcare team members
- Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patient condition and response to treatment
Other Responsibilities
- Completes required orientation as directed by facility
- Follows facility and OSHA safety rules and procedures while on assignment
- Follows facility Unusual Occurrence Protocol
- Respects cultural and religious practices of patients
- Upholds HIPAA regulations
- Punctual and dependent for assigned/confirmed shifts
