Job Description: Registered Nurse, PACU
Shifts/Hours:
- Day Shift: 7:00am-5:30pm & 8:00am-6:30pm (Staggered)
- 10-hour shifts
- Every other weekend
- On-call is required and determined by census & staffing levels
Pay Scale: $49.81-$78.90
Responsibilities:
- Monitor post-operative patients level of consciousness during recovery from anesthesia.
- Measure and record patients' vital signs
- Closely observe patients for sign of side effects of anesthesia medication
- Treat pain, nausea, and other post-operative symptoms of anesthesia
Must Haves:
- CA RN License
- BLS and ACLS Certifications.
- 1 year experience in PACU or ICU, experience must be recent
- Associates degree
About the Unit:
- 5 beds
- Patent population: Pediatric to geriatric
- Common cases: Patients recovering from surgeries such as general surgery, ortho, OB-GYN, podiatry, urology, plastics, eyes, and car accident
Orientation:
- 2 day hospital orientation
- Department training is tailored to individual

Pay: $49.81 - $78.90 per hour
