El Dorado County's Road System currently consists of approximately 1083 centerline miles of paved roadway, 76 bridges, a multitude of storm drainage systems, and related transportation facilities. ENGINEERING DIVISIONThe Engineering Division provides planning, design, and construction management services within the unincorporated area of El Dorado County. Responsibilities of the Division include: delivering capital projects from initial planning phases through design and construction and post-construction environmental monitoring. THE OPPORTUNITYThe ideal candidate will have the opportunity to plan, organize and direct the activities of staff in the County's Right of Way Program. This individual will also be responsible for supervising assigned staff and directing the day-to-day activities for the program. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year for year basis. Other Requirements: Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
