We are an acute care medical center, part of a larger health care system, looking for a Revenue Integrity Chargemaster Analyst to join our growing Revenue Cycle team. As the Revenue Integrity Chargemaster Analyst you will support Revenue Cycle Management in the analysis of Revenue Cycle data, identification of process improvement, chargemaster compliance, and charge capture opportunities.
Title: Revenue Integrity Chargemaster Analyst
Location: White Plains, NY
Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 +
Responsibilities:
- Oversight of the CDM/Chargemaster and its maintenance
- Liaison for clinical department education on charge appropriateness (CPTs, Revenue codes, etc.)
- Works with various internal departments to resolve charge issues and reviews/provides resolution of billing edits
- Assists with new department builds to ensure all coding/charges are in place, audits departmental charges, and works with the departmental charge champions on any issues identified
- Keeps up to date on coding (CPT/Dx/Hcpc) changes and develops educational documents for charging areas
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited College or University with a B.S. preferred
- Minimum of (6) years in Patient Accounting hospital setting required with strong experience working with the Chargemaster
- Knowledge of hospital billing and reimbursement of insurance as well as third-party billing
