Evans Furniture Galleries is looking for a Sales Associate who is hardworking, friendly, customer focused, and qualified for a sales position available at our Yuba City location. This is a full- time, permanent, non-seasonal position, including commission potential, health & paid-vacation benefits. Sales position includes duties such as but not limited to:
- Greets customer on sales floor
- Determine make, type, and quality of merchandise desired
- Serves customers by selling products and meeting customer needs.
- Maintain consistent and positive customer service image when interacting with customers
- Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
- Maintain weekly sales goals
- Prepare and enter sales invoices or sales contracts, within the policy and guidelines
- Prepare and process finance contracts
- Receive payment or obtain credit authorizations
- Schedule deliveries
- Answers telephone calls as needed
- Assist in display and merchandising of products
- Price merchandise
- Performs general housekeeping duties as needed in specified retail areas
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED preferred
- Basic computer skills
**Must be available evenings, weekends and holidays**
