WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH:
As the Americas Region Manager, you'll join a global team called Results Talent Network (RTN). RTN is a new solution developed by Bain since 2020 in order to build a virtual, scalable network of independent functional experts, implementation specialists and buffer resources to augment Bain case teams and other pools of Bain resources globally.
The RTN has been built to address increasing client demand for deeper expertise and implementation functions to (1) provide relevant, point-expertise that is case specific; (2) deliver results at a lower price point while enhancing the value proposition; (3) compete with competitors who have built up an in-house and/or affiliated contractor network with deep expertise; and (4) help provide ‘buffer’ resource/variabilize key pools of Bain talent (for case teams and elsewhere)
After a pilot launch in 4 geographies in 2020, RTN is now live across all Bain EMEA, North American and part of APAC offices and being rolled out progressively in selected other APAC and South and Central American offices. RTN operations and deployment are currently managed by a team of 12 across various Bain offices globally, paving the way for future growth for this newly created business.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
The role is an exciting opportunity for an entrepreneurial and operations orientated person to help define, set up, and drive the path to expand and grow RTN in the Americas region.
The Regional Manager is the link between RTN’s regional operational team and RTN global leadership.
Reporting into the Director of Global Operations, the Manager Americas will manage the AMER operations team and will work closely with the broader Global RTN leadership team, managing the day-to-day operations of the business, driving demand generations efforts in the region and supporting global initiatives. He/she will supervise the current team of two Senior Specialists based in Boston MA, plus at time contractors to enhance the team during peak demand times.
This role will the occupant an opportunity to help build a business within Bain, rapidly scaling a new capability in the whole of the Americas region. The occupant will also have high visibility within Bain, gaining exposure to senior leaders across the organization.

U.S. COMPENSATION INFORMATION:
Compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, 401(k) plan with an annual employer contribution based on years of service and Bain’s best in class benefits package (details listed below).

- Supervision of the day-to-day execution of contingent worker requests and augmented case teams support managed by the team
- Arbitrage or escalate issues to the global leadership
- Lead the demand generation effort to evangelize the use of contingent workers among Bain partner teams, across RTN use cases
- Support the roll-out of RTN in new countries within the South & Central America region
- Co-responsible for revenue and gross margin in the region
The Americas Manager performs a regional leadership role beyond the operational aspect:
- Represent RTN in the key regional forums where RTN is present
- Own the relationship with the key regional stakeholders (talent and staffing LT, regional practice leads, account teams etc.)
- Own the relationship with our MSP team and talent suppliers in the region
- Be a thought partner for the global LT

ABOUT YOU:
Education
- MBA, master’s degree is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree at minimum
- Ideally a minimum of 3 years in strategy consulting
- (Bain consulting experience strongly preferred)
- Alternatively, a significant experience as a staffing manager in a professional service organization like Bain
- 5-10 years of professional experience
- Current or recent Bain consulting experience at the SAC level"
- Strong and professional client facing skillset
- Strong analytical capability, with ability to generate powerful insights
- Strong project management capabilities
- Highly collaborative individual with demonstrated track record as a self-starter and the ability to multi-task and prioritize among competing demands
- Sound business judgment, with ability to anticipate firm needs and identify and implement practical, realistic solutions
- Highly responsive, service-oriented individual with experience working effectively cross-functionally within a "client-centric" global organization, including flexibility in adjusting priorities and work hours/availability to meet customer needs
- Ability to manage confidential and highly sensitive information with the highest levels of discretion and professionalism
- Outstanding written and verbal communications skills.
- English fluency required, Spanish or Portuguese is a plus

- In New York City, the good-faith, reasonable annualized full-time salary range for this role is between $150,500 - $180,500; placement within this range will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to experience, education, licensure/certifications, training and skill level.
- For all other locations, the good-faith, reasonable annualized full-time salary range for this role is commensurate with competitive geographic market rates for this role and will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to experience, education, licensure/certifications, training and skill level
- Annual discretionary performance bonus
- This role may also be eligible for other elements of discretionary compensation
- 4.5% 401(k) company contribution, which increases after 3 years of service and is 100% vested upon start date
