Wilson Medical Center in Wilson, NC is seeking a Respiratory Therapist. Known as the City of Beautiful Trees and the City of Antiques, Wilson is famous for its barbecue and whirligigs and offers a vibrant community and tranquil way of life that invites you to put down roots in a city of modern amenities and old-fashioned charm. Wilson is 45 miles east of Raleigh and the Research Triangle Park, and only two hours from the North Carolina coast.
The Respiratory Therapist examines patients with breathing-related conditions and conducts diagnostic testing. The RT consults with physicians to develop and implement a treatment plan for the patient. Performs physiotherapy and other treatments and teaches patients to use medications.
Required Education:
Associate’s degree - Required
Required License/Certifications:
RRT required.
BLS certification required, or obtained during first week of hire.
ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications obtained within 12 months from date of hire.'
